It depends on what you want to do. However, the beauty of physics, is that it's the foundation of almost all the sciences. Going into any Engineering discipline wouldn't be a tough transition because all the engineering majors have to take the same basic physics classes!
Is physics in engineering difficult?
Question: Is Engineering Physics hard? With both Engineering and Physics, the course is definitely challenging. It covers several aspects of a variety of different industries while most engineering courses cover only one industry.
Is physics harder than engineering?
Originally Answered: What is harder between physics and engineering? Physics is more maths intensive and finding out about why things happen the way they do whereas engineering focuses on mechanics, materials and forces and uses the knowledge and laws from physics to apply them to the real world.
Is physics tough in BTech?
Are maths, physics, and chemistry really very tough in a BTech course? - Quora. No I don't think so. Most of the fundamentals are from your immediate previous school studies , so you will not find too difficult while learning the new implimentations.
Is engineering a lot of physics?
Engineering is largely based on physics, so yes, we learn lots of physics. Engineering is essentially applied physics. At my university, Mechanical majors take 2 semesters of general physics.
Physics Vs Engineering | Which Is Best For You?
Should I do engineering if I hate physics?
The short answer is: yes, you can still be a good engineer even if you don't "understand physics". The degree to which an engineer uses physics varies depending upon the type of engineering and career. For example, if you are a civil engineer and design bridges, then you will need to understand stresses and forces.
Which engineering has less physics?
But, to give you a satisfied answer, I would recommend Computer Science engineering and its allied branches. They have almost least amount of physics and considerably good amount of mathematics or logic involved.
Is 1st year engineering hard?
1st year is the easiest, if you do regular study, as you have subjects and topics such as physics, chemistry that you have studied in your earlier classes (i.e. 10th to 12th).
Can a weak student do engineering?
Probably not. For all intents and purposes, engineering is applied math and science (mostly physics), so if you are weak in these areas, you will probably be a weak engineering student.
Which engineering syllabus is tough?
Electrical engineering is considered to be one of the toughest Engineering courses by the students, mostly because of the abstract thinking involved.
Is Elon Musk a physicist or engineer?
Elon Musk has degrees in physics and has studied rocket science and was starting a PhD in physics. He is a successful programmer and entrepreneur.
Does physics get easier?
Physics gets both easier and harder with time so stick at it. Much of it is sensible. Teachers kill the subject so be more independent. It is the most undervalued subject because you have to think.
Which is harder math or engineering?
It really does matter on the student's learning style. A visual learner will certainly have a much harder time in math than engineering. What I can say though, is engineering is certainly a far more demanding major for two reasons. Engineering majors require far more classes than a math major.
Which is harder physics or chemistry?
Physics is the hardest major; it is harder than chemistry, biology, psychology, computer science, astronomy, biochemistry, and geology. The level of math and the number of abstract concepts in physics is unparalleled. Physics is more challenging than all other sciences.
Which engineering is best for girls?
Computer Engineering is one of the most sought after engineering career choices available to girl students in India. The best part of this course is this, that there is no field work at all. The expansion in IT sector and software revolution in India has also made this course demanding.
Which engineering is the easiest?
It's considered one of the easier engineering majors that you can study though, because it's not as focused on advanced math and physics.
Are engineers good at math?
Engineers have to be competent at math. Engineering focuses largely on designing and developing solutions to problems, and engineers often need to perform equations and calculations as part of the process of developing, building and testing the solutions they design.
Do engineers party hard?
There was no particular frequency. But, very less during exams. It used to remain 3 to 4 times a week. An engineering student generally parties often, approximately once a week.
Is engineering math easy?
Engineering maths isn't hard at all. All it requires is some practice and attention in class. Mind you, if you know your basic calculus from school really really well, then engineering math wouldn't be that hard. Dont worry, keep practicing problems on a daily basis and then you will get the hang of it.
Is engineering harder than medicine?
Therefore, medicine can be said to be challenging across the board, while engineering has more variable in its difficulty.
Which engineering is closest to physics?
Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering are directly based in Physics.
Is engineering more math or physics?
Are there more maths or physics in the engineering field? Physics is the union between philosophy (epistemology) & mathematics (calculus). Engineering is the union between physics & technology. Therefore, there is more physics than maths in engineering.
Which engineering is best?
