If it's a career in academia then physics is somewhat more adequate (physical chemistry or biochemistry too) ,if you want to do something industrial maybe chemistry is better, but in deciding what to study ,you should make a choice based on your curiosity to know more about that subject ,and how much it excites you .

Is it better to study physics or chemistry?

Physics is slightly harder than chemistry because it is more math-oriented and has more abstract concepts. At the high school level, chemistry is actually more difficult than physics. Beyond high school, physics is harder than chemistry as it is calculus-based and extremely complex.

Should I study physics or chemistry first?

The most logical sequence is physics, then chemistry, and then biology. This takes you up the hierarchy from the the most basic to the most complex. Much of chemistry is applied physics (physical chemistry), and much of modern biology is biochemistry/molecular biology.

Is chemistry or physics more useful?

Chemistry is the most important science because without chemistry, there would be no other sciences. Before any of the other sciences were studied, chemistry was studied.

Is physics tougher than chemistry?

Everyone who's ever graduated from college with a science degree knows that physics is more difficult to learn than chemistry. That's because physics requires a more extensive proficiency at math to learn properly. Meanwhile, chemistry, requires only general calculus.

Is First Year chemistry hard?

Chemistry is a fundamentally challenging subject. It is highly unlikely that every student in every class will understand every new concept the first time it is formally presented. Whilst asking a lecture question is to be encouraged, one along the lines of “I didn't understand what you just said” is not so helpful.

Why do physicists hate chemists?

Physicists attempt to study complexity and reduce it to simplicity. Chemistry is more interested in how atoms behave with one another as they form molecules. So instead of reducing to the simplest principles, chemists want to know how elements interact with one another when they are combined into compounds.

Should I do physics or chemistry high school?

Is chemistry or biology harder?

As a general rule, most students find biology easier except, they may be required to memorize more information. Chemistry is usually more difficult, especially the labs, because they require a better understanding of mathematics, especially error analysis.
